PERMIT RISK
Acquiring permits for construction and operation from municipal, provincial and federal jurisdictions.
MITIGATION
- The head of the Piura Dept. of Energy & Mines has committed to support the permit application based on a zero discharge of solids & liquids facility with a lined tailings pond.
- The Director General of Mines in Lima has indicated that there should be no permitting concerns as long as the plant is constructed to the standards expected in Peru - Peru is very familiar with the type of gold recovery plant being proposed.
- The Office of the Governor of the State of Piura has indicated their verbal support for the application.
