Although there are no significant mineral processing facilities in Northern Peru, the only known publicly listed comparable Canadian company is located approximately 1400 kilometers south of the proposed Canada Gold location. There is at least one comparable facility currently operating in Southern Peru. Based on the 2008 financials, this company was processing an average of 180 tons of ore per day with an average grade of 0.87 oz/ton.
